For boat clubs
For boat clubs
A club system for members, fees, guard duties, berths and lifts. Free for boat clubs until the end of 2027.
Register the clubMembers
- Member register with households, boats, insurance dates and skills such as crane operator and forklift licence.
- Membership application on the web. The board approves the application and assigns a member number.
- Import from Excel or CSV, for example a file you export from your current register. Export the register whenever you want.
Fees and payments
- Price list per season: membership fee, household, joining fee, berth per metre or square metre, winter spot, electricity per kWh and fee for watch duty not carried out.
- Invoices with OCR number, bankgiro or plusgiro and Swish QR code. Send them or print them.
- Record payments manually, or import the Bankgirot BgMax file and the bank's CSV. Payments are matched automatically against the OCR number.
- Reminders to those who have not paid. Export to accounting as CSV or SIE 4.
Guard duties and work days
- Duty shifts, work days and lift crews. Members book themselves and can swap a shift with another member.
- Automatic allocation of the shifts nobody has booked.
- Balance per member shows completed and remaining shifts.
Berths and electricity
- Berths with agreements that the member accepts digitally.
- Subletting approved by the board, and free periods when the member is away.
- Allocate a berth directly from the queue.
- Electricity meters that the member reads, and keys and tags per member.
Lifts, winter storage and queues
- Lift calendar for launching and hauling out with capacity per time slot.
- Winter storage spots with boat and place.
- Waiting lists for berths and winter storage.
Events and notices
- Work days, annual meetings and courses with yes, no or maybe replies and reminders beforehand.
- Notice board for the club's messages.
- Roles: the board, treasurer, harbour master and watch duty manager each see and change their own part.
Notices to the members
- The member logs in and sees their invoices, their duty shifts, their berth, events and the notice board.
- Push notifications on the phone when the web app is on the home screen. On iPhone, iOS 16.4 or later is required.
- Email to everyone, and SMS via the club's own account with 46elks.
- Calendar feed with the member's own duty shifts and the club's events.
- Warnings from SMHI about wind and water levels for the harbour.
Get started in one evening
- Register the club and choose Boat club as the type. We review the club, usually within a day. In the meantime, you can add the price list and berths.
- Import the member file from your current register.
- Enter the price list for the season and the club's bankgiro or plusgiro.
- Create the invoices and send them.
Data and responsibility
The club is the data controller for the members' data. Marinpedia is the data processor and processes it only on behalf of the club. We do not store personal identity numbers.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Nothing for the club until the end of 2027. We will give at least three months' notice of what applies after that.
Can we move from our current register?
Yes. Export the members as CSV from the system you use today, or use an Excel sheet. During the import you map the columns to the fields and see what will be created before you save.
Does every member need an account?
No. The board handles everything in the portal. An account is only needed for members who want to book duty shifts themselves, accept the berth agreement, report the electricity meter or view their invoices.
How are members without a smartphone notified?
By email, by SMS if the club has connected its account with 46elks, and on paper. Invoices and notices can be printed.
Can we leave and take the data with us?
Yes. Members, boats, berths, fees, payments and guard duties can be exported as CSV whenever you like, and the accounting as CSV or SIE 4. If you close the account, we delete the data within 30 days.
