Seffle
The brothers Carl and Bernard Bruce started building engines in 1907 and moved to Säffle in 1908, where hot-bulb engines were made under the Seffle name. The engines had one or more cylinders, powered fishing boats and barges, and were exported to many countries. Hot-bulb engine production ended in 1972 after more than ten thousand engines, and the company went bankrupt in 1978.
