Bolinder
Bolinders mechanical works in Stockholm built Sweden's first paraffin engine in 1893 and from 1910 made crude oil engines for boats, sawmills and more. Their hot-bulb engines powered fishing boats, launches and English canal boats. From 1933 Bolinders also built the Trim outboard, and four-stroke diesels came later. The business closed in 1979.
